I currently switched over to a PC workstation as my main Resolve machine, but still have a Mac on the network for the occasional back-up work and ProRes encoding. The issue is whenever I move a project between them I have to relink everything, as Mac and PC use different drive naming schemes (/volume vs c:). I was wondering if anyone had any good workarounds to this, or any other solutions I should look into that could save me time from relinking manually.
The files are on a shared folder on the Windows workstation accessible by the Mac on the network, so theoretically both machines should be able to access them. I just need to find some method to handle the differences between Mac and PC drive mapping naming.
